I ^ <br />Mayor and City Council <br />FROM;Ron Moorse, City Administrator <br />DATE;September 25, 1992 <br />SUBJECT; Police Service Contract with the City of Long Lake <br />The Long Lake City Attorney has indicated the three issues <br />related to the police contract are as follows: <br />1, Duration <br />2, Supplemental officers <br />3. The termination language <br />The City Attorney has indicated he will recommend a one year <br />contract. He has also indicated he will recommend the City of <br />Long Lake retain the two supplemental officers, but only if the <br />termination language is changed so that the City of Long Lake is <br />not penalized for reducing the number of supplemental officers in <br />the future. The termination language is still being negotiated. <br />An update will be provided at the Council meeting.
