ORDINANCE NO.302 <br /> CITY OF ORONO <br /> HENNEPIN COUNTY,MINNESOTA <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES <br /> PERTAINING CHAPTER 54 FOR AMENDMENTS AND TYPOS TO THE SECTION <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF ORONO ORDAINS: <br /> SECTION 1. Sec. 54-32 shall be amended by deleting the strikethrough text and adding the <br /> underlined text to read as follows <br /> Sec. 54-32. Storage. <br /> (a) It is unlawful for any person to store refuse on residential dwelling premises for more than <br /> one week. All such storage shall be in five-to 50-gallon metal or plastic containers with <br /> tightfitting covers,which shall be maintained in a clean and sanitary condition. Tree leaves, <br /> weeds and grass clippings may be stored in plastic bags and tree limbs must be stored in <br /> bundles weighing no more than 75 pounds and no longer than four feet. <br /> (b) It is unlawful for any person to store refuse on multiple dwelling premises for more than <br /> one week. Such storage shall be in containers as for residential dwelling premises; except <br /> that containers, sometimes referred to as dumpsters, with closefitting covers may be <br /> substituted. <br /> (c) It is unlawful for any person to store refuse on commercial establishment premises for more <br /> than 48 hours. Such storage shall be in containers as for residential dwelling premises; <br /> except that containers, sometimes referred to as dumpsters,with closefitting covers may be <br /> substituted. <br /> (d) It is unlawful to store organic refuse unless it is drained and wrapped. <br /> (e) All refuse and garbage deposited in containers for pickup shall not be stored in the area <br /> between the street and the front plane of the house or garage on non-collection days or shall <br /> be must be kept within a building. or behind the most street` ar portion of the" pa' <br /> accessory building on the property which is closest to the street. the yard setback line for the <br /> district in which the property is located. Refuse must be deposited at one place, at ground <br /> level, on each property.
