h ■'■''„,v • ^■r V .♦.. •/; <br />L-■’■'.• •■K(r: <br />•‘VV,a-' <br />^ v; ”>• <br />f.V.' <br />V^/ <br />r->- <br />CITY of ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. 3006__________ <br />A) The 5.02 acre site is large enough to support a day <br />use recreation area and occasional overnight camping <br />use without any adverse effect upon the lake or upon <br />the adjacent wetlands located within the western <br />portion of the subject property. <br />B) The proposed use will have no negative impact upon <br />the neighboring adjacent properties. <br />C) Based on the proposed level of use, the fire <br />protection system developed by the Orono staff for ^ j.g <br />Island and the bylaws developed by applicant will <br />provide the necessary precautionary steps to maintain <br />the public safety and welfare. <br />D) The proposed use will require no variances to the <br />required standards set forth in Section 10.31, <br />Subdivision 3 (C). <br />Shall sustain structural repairs only. <br />F) The only flat usable land portion of lakeshore is <br />15—20' above the lake level.
