Off-street parking accessory to residential use shall be subject <br />to the provisions of section 78-1577. Additionally, vehicles in excess of 14,000 pounds <br />GVW shall be subject to the provisions of section 78-1577(3)b. and no trailer in excess of <br />10,000 pounds GVW shall be parked or stored in a residential district except when loading, <br />unloading or rendering a service. <br />(i) Location of parking. Residential driveways, approaches and turnarounds. <br />(a) AOne single driveway approach may not shall be allowed to serve more than a maximum of <br />two (2) single residential lots fromto the same road. Lots defined as through lots or corner <br />lots shall only be allowed a driveway approach to only one public road. Driveway turnarounds are required, and on all entrances to public <br />roads within the city where deemed necessary by the City Engineer. The City Engineer shall <br />make this determination, based on traffic counts, sight distances, street grades and other <br />relevant factors. If a driveway turnaround is required by the City Engineer, such <br />requirement shall be stated on any permit issued by him pursuant to this article. <br />(ec) All driveway improvements must meet the driveway standards outlined in City Code <br />Chapter 18, Division 3 Driveway Standards. <br />Sec. 78-1493. Business driveways, approaches and turnarounds. <br />(a) Only one business driveway isshall be allowed per development unless a greater number of <br />driveways are approved by the city, or are approved as part of the site plan review.
