He staged that the area m front of the pool is actually <br />a Minnesota woodlands. He said that removal ( <br />will allow the other trees better lighting, <br />to replant bushes on the slope because It is <br />the designated trees <br />He noted they intend <br />very steep. <br />Mabusth reported that she *nd the City Engineer inspected the site. <br />She stated the Engineer’' report did not specifically address the <br />loss of trees as it would be minimal in I ght of the adjacent heavy <br />eed area. She felt It was better to install quick growing <br />getation on the newly installed slopes to prevent further <br />081on. <br />ibbour stated that Butler’s concern was preventative measures to <br />sure the other trees wouldn’t die. <br />Ison noted that the trees provide privacy for the pool area and <br />III yQpy concerned about maintaining the existing vegetation. <br />was moved by Jabbour, seconded hy Goetten, to adopt Resolution <br />|37 for Application #1739 for .Ibin Nelson. 500 Oxford Road, <br />ijifiOV i ng a cond itional use permit to allow filling <br />0 cubic yards. Ayes 3, nays 0. <br />n excess of <br />16) #1741 RODNEY & SHARON 0ATZLAFF, <br />16 BROWN ROAD SOUTH - <br />HIANCE - RESOLUTION #3138 <br />Batzlaff was present. <br />►orse explained that this application involves a request for a <br />-jrlance to construct a detached garage to be paced in the front <br />setback area and within 23’ of the right-of-way. <br />Mabusth .noted that the applicants have agreed to move the shed In <br />the rear yard that encroached the north side of the property line. <br />It was moved by Goetten, seconded by Mayor Peterson, to adopt <br />Resolution #3138 for Application #1741 for Rodney and Sharon <br />Batzlaff of 1115 Brown Road South, approving variances to construct <br />a detached garage in the front yard setback area.
