1^4. <br />■ ^ i.~\r- >m'M <br />h RBSOLQTION DESIGNATING SIGNATORBS <br />FOR THE MINNESOTA BOARD OP PEACE OFFICER <br />STANDARDS AND TRAINING DISBURSEMENT MONEY <br />P-WHEREAS, on July 1, 1982, the State of Minnesota began <br />collecting money as a surcharge on all moving traffic offenses; <br />and <br />p- <br />- . : <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes 626.86 provides these funds <br />ae ceimbursement to cities for some of the co.* cs of their peace <br />office*'*s continuing education; and <br />I#-'WHEREAS, two persons are required to sign the <br />ication forms on behalf of the local units of government; and <br />tea. : <br />WHEREAS, the requirement for signatures are to be the <br />chief law enforcement officer of the agency and another officer <br />of the governing body; and <br />WHEREAS, Stephen X. Sullivan became the new Police Chief <br />on August 19, 1991, replacing Melvin H. Kilbo; and <br />,.v' <br />WHEREAS, Ronald J. Moorse became the new Orono City <br />on September 9, 1991, replacing Mark E. <br />' Hernhardson • <br />HOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Chief of Police <br />___^ X, Sullivan and Ronald J.
