Planning & Zoning Administrator <br />July 22, 1992 <br />Ordinance Amendment ~ Mandatory Hookup Standards for <br />Stubbs Bay Area <br />i : DATE: <br />80BJBCI. <br />If; is <br />Of Bshibits <br />pis A - Proposed Ordinance <br />B - Excerpt from May 18th Assessment Hearing Minutes <br />Dleeoeslon <br />At the continuation of the Stubbs Bay assessment hearing on May <br />tep 18th, Council voted 5-0 to extend the connection period for Stubbs Bay <br />project area residents to five years, with some caveats. <br />The proposed ordinance is based on che Council motion, the <br />discussion held May 18th, and staff's interpretation of Council's <br />goal in extending the connection period. <br />|if <br />One factor perhaps not made clear in the May discussions is that <br />ife would likely find that most of the existing trench drainfields <br />(which account for probably 90% of the project area) would be <br />classified "non-conforming" if soil borings w«re done to verify the <br />depth to mottling.
