Manual tank gauging may be used as described in <br />this item to meet the requirements of part 7150.0310. item k. <br />(1) For tanks with capacities of 1.000 gallons or <br />less, weekly manual tank gauging may be used as the sole method <br />of release detection. <br />(2) For tanks with capacities of 1.001 to 2.000 <br />gallons, manual tank gauging may be used in place of product <br />inventory control in item A. <br />For tanks not described in subitems (1) and (2). annual <br />tank gauging may not be used to satisfy the provisions of part <br />7150.0310. item A. <br />C. Manual tank gauging must meet the following <br />requirementst <br />(1) tank liquid level measurements are taken at <br />the beginning and ending of a period of at least 36 hours during <br />which no liquid is added to or removed from the tank.* <br />(2) level measurements are based on an average of <br />bwo consecutive stick readings at both the beginning and ending <br />of the period; and <br />(3) the equipsMHt used is capable of measuring <br />the level of product over the full range of the tank's height to <br />the nearest one-eighth of an inch <br />A leak is suspected and subject to the requirements of <br />Minnesota Btatutea. section 115.061. if t.ie variation between <br />.J". ... <br />V-
