CITY OF ORONO - NOTICE <br />The Planning Commission of the City of Orono will hold a Public Information <br />meeting on June 15, 1992 at 8:00 p.m. for the purpose of reviewing a sketch <br />plan submitted by the Orono Area Sports Facilities, Inc. (he^reinafter <br />O.A.S.F.I.) that proposes an indoor and outdoor ice hockey arena on <br />property owned by the Orono School District. The subject prop“^rty consists <br />of 40 plus acres located at the southeast quadrant of the int»3rsection of <br />6th Avenue North and Old Crystal Bay Road - refer to location map on rear <br />of this page. <br />The parcel to be acquired by O.A.S.F.I. is approximately 5 acres in area <br />and is located at the northeast corner of the property with direct access <br />proposed at 6th Avenue North. <br />The indoor rink is shown at 140'x240' and the outdoor rink at 85‘x200'. <br />Detailed site plans are available at the City offices for review. The City <br />offices are open 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. <br />All persons wishing to be heard will appear at this time. Your written <br />comments are encouraged.
