/ <br />S 10.03 <br />E. Rear yard only; balconies^ breezeways, detached <br />outdoor picnic shelters and recreational equipment except as <br />regulated hereinafter; no accessory structure shall be closer than <br />5 feet from a rear lot line nor shall a fence or wall constructed <br />within a rear yard exceed a height of 6 feet above original grade. <br />F. Side yards only; no accessory structure shall be <br />closer than 10 feet from any side lot line nor shall a fence or <br />wall constructed within a side yard exceed a height of 6 feet above <br />original grade. <br />Source: Ordinance 9, 2nd Series <br />Adopted: 1-28-85 <br />Subd. 16. Traffic Visibility. No fences# structures or <br />planting more than three feet high in the "R" District on corner <br />lots shall be permitted to obstruct traffic visibility within a <br />triangular area defined as follows: "Beginning at the intersection <br />of the projected curb lines of two intersecting streets# thence <br />thirty feet along one curb line thence diagonally to a point thirty <br />feet from the point of beginning on the other curb line# thence to <br />the point of beginning. <br />Source: Municipal Code <br />Effective Date: 9-14-67 <br />Subd. 17. Essential Services. This Zoning Chapter shall <br />require a permit for all structures including utility poles# and <br />right-of-ways which are an integral part of a system for public <br />transportation# as for transmitting power, water# heat# communica <br />tions# gas or sewage by any public utility. The Council shall <br />grant a conditional use permit only after a showing that the public <br />safety# health and welfare will not be harmed by the essential <br />services. <br />Subd. 18. Farming. <br />1975 shall be permitted to <br />following conditions: <br />All farms in existence on January 1# <br />continue operation subject to the <br />A. No new "stock farms" shall be created or <br />existing stock farms enlarged more than twenty-five percent (251) <br />over the total number of animals that existed on the farm as of <br />January 1# 1975 with animals over one year old except under the <br />provisions of a conditional use permit. In considering any such <br />permit# the maximum number and type of animals to be kept shall be <br />determined by the Council. The site design and method of operation, <br />shall be reviewed and the Council shall find that the proposed or <br />existing "stock farm" will not in its opinion be detrimental to the <br />public safety and the general welfare. <br />OROHO CC 257 (4-1-S4)
