Minnes'ota 55101-1633 <br />May 7, 1992 <br />MAf 1 1 <br />To Elected-Officials, City Managers and Staff: <br />Budget Breakfasts seeking input to the Metropolitan Waste Control <br />Commission's (MWCC) Proposed 1993 Budget are scheduled as listed <br />below. The MWCC invites you and/or appropriate city staff to <br />attend. Pre-Budget meetings were held in March to gather input <br />‘to developing this proposed budget. The Commission <br />gippi^ociates comments received from all who attended. We realxze <br />tbat wastewater treatment xs a major cost in your communxty s <br />budget and are anxious to provide our system users with effective <br />treatment at a reasonable cost. We believe it is important to <br />provide you with an opportunity to review and comment throughout <br />our budget process. <br />In order to accommodate those who will be attending the League of <br />Minnesota Cities (LMC) J\ine Conference, MWCC has scheduled one of <br />the breakfast meetings at the Radisson South just prior to the LMC <br />Opening Session on June 10. You do not need to be registered for <br />the conference in order to attend this breakfast meeting. We wxll <br />end the breakfast meeting in time for you to make the conference <br />opening session. <br />MWCC will schedule a Public Hearing on the 1993 Proposed Budget at <br />the June 16 Meeting of the Full Commission. Action on the 1993 <br />Proposed Budget, containing any changes as a result of suggestions <br />from the breakfast meetings and Public Hearing, is anticipated at <br />MWCC's July 21 Meeting of the Full Commission. <br />There is a meeting for industrial users on Friday, May 29, at 7:30 <br />a.m., at the Holiday Inn Roseville.
