Permit requirements of the Sheriff’s Water Patrol, the <br />City of __ _ _ _» Hennepin Parks and the DNR Fisheries must <br />be met. <br />2. Use of starting guns or bull horns is not permitted <br />3. <br />mm. <br />Participants must be notified that: ^ <br />a. prior to launching in Lake Minnetonka, watercraft that <br />have been in waters known to be infested with zebra <br />mussel, which includes the Mississippi. St. Croix, <br />and St. Louis Rivers, and St. Louis Bay of bake <br />Superior must have been thoroughly dried or washed- <br />down with hot water at least 140 degrees, inside and <br />K Ihln leaving Lake Minnetonka, all lake weeds must <br />be cleaned from watercraft, including wet wells and <br />internal areas, bait/tackle containers, and external <br />areas including trailers. <br />4.Participants must be notified that they are required to <br />comply with applicable LMCD boating ordinances. copy <br />enclosed. Of particular importance are regulations <br />limiting watercraft speed to 40 mph and noise to 82 dbA. <br />5.All temporary signs for the event visible from the lake <br />must be removed within 24 hours after the event.
