MN 55391
473-7357
Date 04-21*92
From: Robert Beutier representing
Stephen Browm.
Dev City of Orono;
c/e Mike Geflron, Aset .Planrur^g and Zoning Administrator
Thif letter is to request a new hearing on the variance for 3262 North Shore
Drive. Orono, .4N 55391.
M the present time there is an acccepted purchase agreement on 3262 North
Share Drive and the new Buyers (Mr. & Mrs. Stephen Brown) would like to keep the
proMil garage size as is.
Due fo the recent purchase of the land west of 3262 North Shore Drive by the
Department of Natural Resources (D.N.R.) we would like to amend the variance to
complete the garage as it sits.
Bye reviewing the D.N.R's. proposal for the Public Boat access we can see that
the D.N.R. is planning to conskuct a fence along the whole north / south lot line to
provids privacy between the lake access and tfie present homes east of the access, in
doing so tfie garage seuctise as it sits would not be imposing on anyones right away
or obatucting anyones view
Wo can al ■g’ee that the removal of the three homes west of 3262 North Shae
Drive would greatly enhance this area visually and the present garage size would help
in roducr^ ths duttsr of cars parked randomly in the diveway shared by the three
hornet stN locaied there.
Th# Browns would sti comply with the other aspects of the vanance by
oonookdaling the 3 storage buildings into the one garage and thus reduce the clutter
and visual dsnsity of the neighborhood. The Browns would also be willing to woi’k
with Pm dty to help improve the area in any other means possible also.
iliP:
M..'
■=<“'
Respectfully,
Robert Beutler
Stephen Brown
mm
1
-4
4
■i
10700 Old County Road 15, Suite 100, Plymouth, Minnesota 55441 (612) 544-8937 I
Ci
