We received bids from <br />four bidders as follows: <br />1.Minnesota Playground <br />add for two diggers <br />add for pea gravel vs sand <br />$17,742 <br />450 <br />400 <br />$]8,59^ <br />2.Miracle Equipment w/17' slide (12'6'‘; <br />add for two diggers <br />$21,273 <br />498 <br />$21,771 <br />Miracle Equipment w/11' slide (7') <br />add for diggers <br />$19,861 <br />498 <br />r20,359 <br />3.Earl Anderson <br />add for two diggers <br />.24,365 <br />1,030 <br />$25,395 <br />The Park Commission appointed a three person committee to <br />determine the needs and wants and staff prepared the bids <br />accordingly. <br />After the bids were opened the committee met with three of the <br />four bidders to discuss their bid amounts and type of equipment <br />bid. <br />After review of the three lowest bidders, the following criteria <br />has been developed to assist in determining the company that can <br />provide the needs and the intent of the specifications. <br />1. Does the equipment meet specifications, <br />2. Is the equipment the quality desired. <br />3. Does the equipment meet current and future Americans <br />With Disabilities requirement. <br />4. Cost. <br />5, Safety concerns. <br />I
