The following is the area proposed to be assessed: <br />All <br />117 <br />All <br />117 <br />Trail. <br />property in <br />N. , R. 23 W. <br />property in <br />N., R. 24 <br />the Northwest quarter of Section 5, T. <br />lying Southerly of the Luce Line Trail, <br />the Northeast quarter of Section 5, T. <br />W., lying Southerly of the Luce Line <br />III <br />IV. <br />V. <br />Properties in the <br />Section 5, T. 117 <br />East ha 1 <br />N., R. 23 <br />of <br />W. , <br />the Northeast quarter of <br />which abut Leaf Street. <br />All property in the West half of the Northwest quarter <br />of Section 4, T. 117 N., R. 23 w. <br />All property in the North half of the Southeast quarter <br />of Section 5, T. 117 N., R. 23 W. which abuts Oxford <br />Road or Bayside Road. <br />The proposed assessment roll is file for public inspection at <br />the city clerk’s office. The total amount of the proposed <br />assessment is $1,468,840.00. Written or oral objections will be <br />considered at the meeting. No appeal may be taken as to the <br />amount of an assessment unless a signed, written objection is <br />filed with the clerk prior to the hearing or presented to the <br />presiding officer at tne hearing. The council may upon such <br />notice consider any objection to the amount of a proposed <br />individual assessment at an adjourned meeting upon such further <br />notice to the affected property owners as it deems advisable. <br />If an assessment is contested or there is <br />the following procedure will be followed: <br />an adjourned hearing. <br />1. <br />2. <br />The city will present its case first by calling witnesses <br />who may testify by narrative or by examination, and by the <br />introduction of exhibits. After each witness has testified, <br />the ccntesting party will be allowed to ask questions. This <br />procedure will be repeated with each witness until neither <br />side has further questions. <br />After the city has presented all its evidence, the objector <br />may call witnesses or present such testimony as the objector <br />desires.
