The existing structure is currently 44.6’ from the rear lot line and the proposed addition would bring this home approximately 40* from the lot line (Exhibit B). The proposed addition will extend the house foundation over an existing well pit. This well should be properly abandoned and inspected by the Minnesota Department of Health, if it hasn’t been already, before construction begins. The well currently used for this dwelling is approximately 15' west of the well pit. The existing septic system consists of two odO gal. concrete block tanks, one 500 gal. precast concrete pumpir.tj chamber, and 1,320 s.f. of drainfield. The pumping chamber and new drainfield were added in 1983 with no septic problems noted since. The proposed expansion will not impact the septic system. ■t
