Baker, 3059 Farview <br />Lane, for an amendment to the c iginally aoproved variances to <br />construct a deck and stairway. Ayes 4, nays 0. <br />(#7) #1713 WHITNEY & BETTY MACMILLAN, <br />1660 FOX STREET - <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT - RESOLUTION #3088 <br />Herb Baldwin was present to represent the applicants. <br />use <br />the <br />Moorse explained this is an application for a conditional <br />permit to enable the relocation of a retention pond area on <br />property. He stated the pond will still retain the same size and <br />depth. <br />Baldwin explained it really is a wet/dry meadow. <br />It was moved by Callahan, seconded by Mayor Peterson, to adopt <br />Resolution #3088 approving Application #1713 for Whitney and Betty <br />MacMillan of 1560 Fox Street, to allow the relocation of a <br />retantion pond. Ayes 4, nays 0. <br />(#8) #1715 CIT'' OF ORONO, <br />2700 TOWN HALL ROAD - <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT - RESOLUTIOi* #3089 <br />Goetten stated she did not recall naming the frontaje road Tow• <br />Hall Road, and suggested they consider other o.i ions. She <br />suggested in honor of Les KeI ley, they dedicate the road Kelley <br />Memorial or sc.netMng to that effect. She questioned additional <br />costs Involved because of the wetland areas. <br />Callahan noted that it appears to be enough work to dredge just one <br />pond rather than three. <br />Moorse explained that two ponds are already existing on the site, <br />so only one will need to be dredged, which will cost money to do <br />but can be offset by selling the black di’"*:. <br />It was moved by Jabbour, seconded by Mayor Peterson, to adopt <br />Resolution #3089 for Application #1715 for the City of Orono, 2700 <br />Town Hall Road, approving a conditional use permit and variance <br />for the construction of a three pond proposal.
