The <br />franchise fee Is not a new fee — It has always been part of >our TV cost <br />and pays for local programming services and regulatory oversight. <br />These two coincident changes have caused some confusion. Therefore, <br />Triax Cablevlslon will Include the franchise fee In your cable rate rather <br />than showing it as a separate line Item. Effective March 1, 1992, your <br />cable bill will look like this: <br />Cable Service <br />Sales Tax <br />Amount Due <br />$0.00* <br />0.00 <br />$0.00 <br />•Five percent (5%) of all rates Is a franchise fee paid to <br />the Lake Minnetonka Cable Commission.
