The cost of <br />printing the newsletter varies depending on whether the <br />newsletter 's typeset by a printer or done in-house on a word <br />processor. ^he costs of the two alternatives are as follows; <br />In-house Printer <br />Postage <br />Typesetting <br />Printing <br />$ 600 $ 600 <br />-200 <br />500 700 <br />$1,100 $1,500 <br />The typesetting alternative will give the newsletter a <br />substantially higher quality appearance. Also, the flexibility <br />in typesizes could reduce the number of pages needed resulting in <br />lower costs. It is recommended the typesetting alternative be <br />selected. <br />Council Action Requested: Motion approving plans for the <br />City newsletter including outside typesetting. <br />Isv <br />■I
