Page 1 of 1 City of Orono March 7, 2024 Attn: Josh Lemons RE: Exterior Service Door/ Interior Window Scope of Work: Sawcut and demo, window, cmu and brick to allow for new door, frame and transom. Remove gyp, ceiling grid, tile, sawcut and remove cmu to allow for new HM window frame. Install and remove shoring at new window at office as necessary. Install temp enclosure at new exterior opening, floor at office, dust enclosure at office. Install new exterior HM frame with transom glass above approx., 4’-0 wide x143” tall. Frame to be spray foamed, jambs block grouted, anchored and Bondo anchors. Install break metal at interior jambs of new exterior frame to cover cut cmu. Install new 5’-8”w x 4’-0 tall HM window at interior office to shop. Install W8 Lintel at interior window with soap block above new window. Patch and return jambs with sheetrock taped and sanded at interior window. Reinstall ceiling grid and tile at new lintel location at office. Install sealant at new exterior door, and interior window frame. Paint all HM frames at exterior door and interior window. Paint office wall to wall at sheetrock at new window, exterior to remain grey block. Excavation and backfill for one stoop foundation and sidewalk base preparation. 5’x5’ stoop to include footings, foundation wall (48” high) and an isolated stoop slab. 5’x12’ exterior walk, 5” thick no additional reinforcement. Remove and replace approx. 12 L.F. of curb for new pedestrian ramp entrance. (This can only be achieved if existing grades allow, no detectable warning plates or asphalt patching figured.) Interior masonry window opening (5’-8”x4’ high) to include supplying and setting one 7’ +/- lintel, grouting existing jambs and installing lintel block at the head of window. INCLUDES: Labor, Equipment, Disposal, Materials and Tax.
