Holton Electric Contractors <br />A-1 Electric Service <br /> 8014 Olson Memorial HWY 55 #475 <br /> Golden Valley, MN 55427 <br /> 651-769-4110 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />City of Orono <br />Attn: Josh Lemons <br />Date: 03-05-24 <br /> <br />Hi Josh, <br /> <br />Please see the below proposal based on a recent review of the space. <br /> <br />Project location: PW Building <br /> <br />Scope: <br />• Map room; add recep above existing <br />• North wall; add (3) new fourplex outlets on wall above desk height <br />• Laundry area; remove welder recep, redirect and pipe to new dryer recep and replace duplex outlets with GFIs <br />• Laundry storage area; install (1) fourplex on each wall <br />• Main truck area; install (4) cord reels (120v 20A—to be verified with Chief—spec attached), allowance of $450 <br />per cord reel included, final locations TBD <br />• Existing mechanics area; Replace cord drop with (2) cord reels to match above, $450 allowance included per <br />cord reel (reels and specs to be verified with Chief), add circuit for 2nd cord reel <br />• Permit and inspections <br /> <br />ESTIMATED COST: $11,380 <br />Alternate 1: Add power for door opener on south end of building; ADD $2,380 <br /> <br />Exclusions/Notes: <br />1. We exclude all charges for service and energy consumption, including any and all Xcel Energy fees. <br />2. We exclude cutting, patching, painting, core drilling, saw-cutting, channeling of concrete and asphalt. <br />3. We exclude furnishing and installation of communication wiring and equipment including but not limited to <br />telephone/data, security, and sound systems unless noted above. <br />4. We exclude any fire alarm or fire related work unless noted above in scope. <br /> <br />Our Terms and Conditions are: <br />1. This scope/proposal letter with approval to proceed below via signature is considered a contract. <br />2. We request written notification of acceptance of this proposal prior to any contractual performances by Holton <br />Electric. <br />3. Contractor shall not be responsible for additional costs due to hidden, concealed, unforeseen or changed <br />conditions. Any alteration or deviation from the specifications involving extra costs will be memorialized by <br />written change order signed by both parties and will become an extra charge over and above the proposed <br />Contract amount, with adjustment in the Contract Price and/or Contract time or both. <br />4. This proposal excludes the assumption of risk of nonpayment to the general contractor. <br />5. Monthly progress payments being paid on time on a regularly scheduled basis if needed. <br />227
