Tne area within 1,000 feet of <br />the Ordinary High Water Level of designated lakes and within <br />300 feet of designated tributary streams is established as the <br />Shoreland Overlay District. Designated lakes are classified <br />as General Development (GD), Recreational Development (RD), or <br />Natural Environment CNE). Regulations for development and use <br />of lands within the Shoreland Overlay District are <br />established. <br />The ordinance establishes procedures and standards for <br />review of permits, variances, and conditional use permits for <br />land use activities within the Shoreland Overlay Dist'^ict. <br />The ordinance establishes regulations and standards in regards <br />to the following: <br />A. <br />B. <br />C. <br />D. <br />E. <br />P. <br />G, <br />R. <br />I. <br />J. <br />K. <br />L. <br />M. <br />N. <br />O. <br />P. <br />Q. <br />R. <br />S. <br />Minimum Lot Area/Lot Width Standards. <br />Lakeshore Access Lots. <br />Placement of Structures on Lots. <br />Minimum Lowest Floor Llevations. <br />Water-Oriented Acct'isory Structures. <br />Stairways, Lifts and Landings. <br />Steep Slopes. <br />Height of Structures. <br />Vegetation Alterations. <br />T<^ographlc Alterations/Grading and Filling. <br />Storm Water Management. <br />Hardcover Limitations. <br />Standards for Commercial, Public, and Semi-Public <br />Uses. <br />Agricultural Use Standards. <br />Forest Management Standards. <br />Extractive Use Standards. <br />Water Supply. <br />Sewage Treatment. <br />Significant Historic Sites. <br />The ordinance establishes standards in regards to <br />existing non-conformities. The ordinance establishes specific <br />provisions for subdivisions and Planned Residential <br />Developments within the Shoreland Overlay District. Certain <br />definitions within the Zoning Code and Subdivision Code are <br />revised for clarity and consistency.
