He noted that each vendor would submit a <br />proposal of how the Job could be done and would have to guarantee <br />the project. <br />Caiiahan felt there was no reason to spend excessive amounts on the <br />audio/visual system. <br />Moorse explained that Jack Boarn an has been asked to have his <br />construction documents ready to go out by the end of the month, and <br />the electrical and the audio/visual system needs to be incorporated <br />within those documents. <br />Jabbour felt that it is more Important to spend some money up front <br />by hiring a consult than to jus*" give i t to a vendor to decide what <br />to purchase. <br />It was moved by Mayor Peterson, seconded by Goetten, to authorize <br />$_ _ for the audio/visual system, to retain a consultant to design <br />CaI Iahan voteda system for the City facilitiss. Ayes 3, nays 1 <br />nay. <br />♦ Moorse handed out an evaluation form sent from Biermeyer to be <br />completed for his 6 month performance review. He stated Biermeyer <br />has offered to facilitate the review at no cost. Moorse asked that <br />the form be completed and returned to Biermeyer by next week. <br />* Moorse asked the Council if they had a preference where the <br />podium for the public to use should be placed In the new Council <br />Chambers. The Council members noted they did not care. <br />Moorse asked how the Council felt about monitors mounted flush in <br />the Council dI as to allow viewing of the visual aides. <br />Jabbour suggested a iarge screen be placed behind the pod I urn off <br />to the side of the room. <br />Goetten suggested he contact the City of Minnetrista as they are <br />not happy with the way they installed their system. <br />(»#22) LICENSES <br />It was moved by Callahan, seconded by Goetten, to approve the <br />following Iicense: <br />Or.-Sale Non-Intoxicating Malt Liquor - Orono Golf Course <br />Ayes 4, nays 0. <br />1 5
