RESOLUTION #635 <br />A RESOLUTION ORDERING STREET IMPROVEMENT <br />• AND AWARDING BID THEREON <br />WILLOW DRIVE FROM FOX STREET TO <br />BURLINGTON NORTHERN RAILROAD BRIDGE <br />100% N.S.A. FUNDS <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the <br />improvement of Willow Drive from Fox Street to Burlington Northern <br />Railroad Bridge using 100% M.S.A. funds, bids were received, opened <br />and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received <br />complying with the advertisement: <br />Contractor <br />Buffalo Bituminous, Inc. <br />Bid <br />$49,203.15 <br />Matt Bullock Construction Company 54,486.31 <br />Northwest Bituminous, Inc. <br />Bituminous Construction <br />57,761.70 <br />63,438.58 <br />AND, WHEREAS, it appears that Buffalo Bituminous, Inc. <br />of Buffalo, Minnesota is the lowest reponsible bidder, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF ORONO, MINNESOTA: <br />• 1. The Mayor and Clerk -Administrator are hereby <br />authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract with <br />Buffalo Bituminous of Buffalo, Minnesota in the City of Orono, <br />Minnesota for the improvement of Willow Drive from Fox Street <br />to Burlington Northern Railroad Bridge using 100% M.S.A. funds, <br />according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by <br />the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk - <br />Administrator. <br />2. The City Clerk -Administrator is hereby authorized <br />and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made <br />with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder <br />and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has <br />been signed. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota at a <br />regular meeting held September 8, 1975. <br />0 Attest: <br />Robert L.
