Application #889 (never completed) <br />C <br />D <br />E <br />P <br />p^' <br />Synopsis - iThe history of this subdivision request goes back to the rezoning <br />of Big Island to •RS*' in 1983. After designation of Record Lots by <br />combining of commonly owned parcels. City Planner A1 Olson had <br />discussions with the Nelson family members who owned various parcels <br />within designated Record Lots #16 and 22. This resulted in the <br />tentative commitment that the City would grant two small extraneous <br />lots status as individual record lots, would keep a large back parcel <br />as part of Record Lot 16, and would approve the subdivision of a <br />lakeshore strip for transfer from Record Lot 22 to Record Lot 16 for <br />lakeshore access (to conform with the 1970 torrens action which had <br />never been formally approved by the City nor recognized by the tax <br />of fice)• <br />1. <br />7. ' i'"'-- V ■ . <br />.|^.v <br />■ ■ <br />The Nelson family members proceeded to sell Record Lots 22 and <br />16, and in 1985 Sam McCloud and Jay Smedberg filed an application for <br />the lakeshore strip subdivision. During the City review process, <br />Smedberg put a hold on the subdivision to investigate his options. <br />The subdivision was never finalized. Smedberg's Record Lot 16 is now <br />owned by Big Island Properties on a contract for deed from Victoria <br />Nelson Arneson, who have both joined Sam McCloud to finalize this <br />subdivision. <br />This gives the City an excellent opportunity to clean up some <br />very old issues. <br />■■ <br />Pertinent Pacts - <br />1.The lakeshore strip in question contains approximately .17 acre, <br />of which .12 acre will stay with Record Lot 22, and .05 acre will <br />become a part of Record Lot 16. <br />a. <br />W:m <br />Kiiisa;'
