He also requested any.h.ng <br />in the future with regards to this issue. <br />Cal Iahan noted the Council is supporting the grant apoiication even <br />I f no one has the si ightest idea what oroperty w . I be boi.g it wi 11 <br />the funds. <br />Kimball stated this money may he used to purcha?e property <br />determined necessary from the feasibility study. <br />Moorse explained the feasibiiity study would be different than the <br />comprehensive plan developed by the Task Force. <br />Jabbour noted that the funding may be within some other c.ty around <br />the lake. <br />Callahan asked what chance the Council thought the funding would <br />be used anywhere other than for the Straley property. <br />(*11) WORK SESSION 1/20/92 <br />It was moved by Jabbour, seconded by Goet:en, co accept the memo <br />regarding the Work Session 1/30'92. Ayes 4, ■■lays 0. <br />(#12) SEASONAL WEIGHT RESTRICTIONS - RESOLUTION #3067 <br />Callahan asked if the weight restr ct ons would <br />construction of the new City facil'tif^s. <br />a e I a V t h u <br />Moorse indicated It would not. <br />It was moved by Callahan, seconded oy Mayor Peterson, to adopt <br />Resolution #3067 establishing the 1992 Weight Limits for City <br />streets from March 15, 1992 throug’' May 15, 1992. Ayes 4, nays 0. <br />(#13) GOLF COURSE EQUIPMENT PURCHASE <br />It was moved by Jabbour, seconded by Goetten, to award the bid tor <br />one (1) 1/2-ton four wheel d» ive pickup for the golf course to <br />Superior Ford for an amount c •' $13,453.00. Ayes 4, nays 0. <br />(#14) 1992 INSURANCE RENEWALS AND AGENT OF RECORD <br />It was moved by Jabbou.*, seconJec by Goetten, to award the <br />Insurances effective January 1, 1992 to tho League of <br />Cities Insurance Trust for multi-peril and excess liability <br />$98,122; to United Flra and casualty for surety bonds $1,171; to <br />Western National f ' boilers $314; to St. Paul Companies J®*' <br />computers $520; and to appoint Mr. Ouweyn Carson, Apple Valley <br />Agency, as Insurance Agent of Record for 1992 at a fee not to <br />exceed $7,000, Including commissions earned through policy premiums <br />paid by the City.
