CITY OF ORONO <br />Regular Meeting of the Orono Council, 7:35 P.M. <br />May 27, 1975 <br />i•The Orono Council met on the above date with <br />the following members present: Mayor Searles, <br />Councilmen Butler, Massengale, and Paurus. <br />Councilman Welsh absent. <br />Butler moved, Searles seconded, that the MINUTES <br />Vinutes of the Regular Meeting of May 13, <br />1975, be approved with the following <br />corrections: Motion, Ayes (4) - Nays (0). <br />Page 1. First paragraph, 36.021 to read: <br />LA "as proposed in the following: <br />4 <br />Page 4. DNR Meeting. "concerning DNR's <br />shoreland regulations and its regulatory <br />4 <br />powers within 11000 feet of the lake." <br />!�i <br />Page 8. Hennepin County Landscape Plan. <br />"This plan does provide for the restoration of <br />shoreline vegetation, the protection of the <br />lake from erosion and for improved environ- <br />mental protection at densely used shoreland <br />sites," <br />JJuarina <br />Licenses. "the problem caused by the <br />excessively dense use of shorelands." <br />o. <br />Paurus moved, Butler seconded, to adopt <br />RESOLUTION #609 <br />Resolution #609 instructing the legal <br />Bike/Hike Trails <br />department to draft a resolution for Council <br />v <br />review June 10, 1975 providing provisions of <br />developers to incorporate with subdivision <br />y <br />streets bike/hike pathways in accordance <br />with the Hennepin County Bike/Hike Pathways <br />c: <br />Feasibility Study of June 1974, and conditioned <br />on staff approval. These pathways will be <br />designed to provide safe passage for pedestrians <br />and bike riders alike. Motion, Ayes (4) - Nays (0). <br />v <br />. <br />Paurus moved, Butler seconded, to adopt <br />RESOLUTION #610 <br />Resolution #610 instructing the legal <br />Park'Dedication Fees <br />w <br />department to draft a resolution for Council <br />review June 10, 1975 providing for a 10% raw <br />land value for park dedication fees from all <br />future proposed subdivisions in the City of <br />v <br />Orono. Motion, Ayes ( 4) - Nays (0) . <br />*Paurus moved Butler seconded, to accept the <br />RESIGNATION <br />v° <br />resignation of Mr. J. E. Romain, Orono Park <br />J. E. Romain <br />Commission member with regrets. Motion, <br />v <br />Ayes (4) - Nays (0) . <br />
