Gerhardson, Public Works Director <br />Jack Brinkhaua, Public Works Supervisor <br />January 1, 1992 <br />Bid Award - Equipment & Materials Bids 1992 <br />1 <br /><?55 <br />The City of Orono advertised for two successive weeks for street <br />materials and equipment rental, with bid opening at 10;00 A.M. <br />Friday, January 3, 1992. <br />The enclosed tabulation contains a complete accounting of all <br />bids received and the recommended low bidders and alternates. <br />The accept'd low bids for materials are determined by <br />availability and location of materials. Traveling distance to a <br />supplier is considered a cost factor when determining a low bid. <br />When renting equipment with an operator, we are guided by the <br />type, size of equipment, and an hourly rate. It is possible to <br />award the low bid to more than one contractor when considering <br />materials and equipment.
