We are unable to attend the meeting tonight so we are faxing <br />this information to you. <br />The valuation of our property and the $10,900.00 increase in valuation <br />this year to $148,700.00 was discussed with Mr. Erickson. We had a <br />detailed appraisal of the property made in 1988 and since then no <br />improvements have been made to the property. The appraisal gave a <br />market value of $130,000.00 and the only change since then has been <br />the amount it has depreciated. Sales of properties along Shadywood <br />Road were used to justify the increase in valuation; however, these <br />properties are not in any way comparable to ours and Mr. Erickson said <br />he did not have any comparable properties to give us figures on. <br />We do not feel any increase in the value of our property Is justified <br />^nd reguest it be left at $137,800.00 which is still $7,800.00 Higher <br />than the 1988 appraisal. <br />Sincerely yours. <br />L./Johnson <br />*amele J.
