Citv Administrator <br />*8K|i <br />Subject; <br />April 21. 1993 <br />Enemy Stiving Lighting Moditicsiion in the Public Works Building <br />Attached is a memo from the Public Works Director recommending modifying the light <br />switching in the Public Works Building to enable individual banks of lights to be on separate <br />switches! The cost of the modification is $1,700. The payback period based on energy cost <br />savings would be 4-5 years. <br />It is recommended that the proposal from Gephart Electric be accepted and that the cost <br />be funded initially from the Building Fund. The Building Fund can then be repaid over a tive- <br />year period from the General Fund Government Buildings Account which is where expenditures <br />tor electricity for the City buildings are accounted for.
