MINUTES OF THE HRA MEETING <br />HELD MAY 11, 1992 <br />ROLL <br />The HRA Committee met on the above date with the following mllBpprs <br />present: Chair Gabriel Jabbour, and Members Barbara Petersorf; J* <br />Oiann Qoetten, Mary Butler and Charles Kelley. Edward Callahan was <br />absent. The following represented the City s^a^f: City <br />AdminIstrator Ron Moorse, Public Works Director John Gerhardson, <br />City Attorney Tom Barrett, and City Recorder Teri Naab. Chair <br />Jabbour called the meeting to order at A:45 P.m. <br />John Davies, Krause Anderson was present. <br />Chair Jabbour explained the purpose of the meeting is to review the <br />tabulation of the bids and award the bids to the lowest responsible <br />contractor. He noted that the bids were advertised and accepted <br />per guidelines established for such processes. <br />Davies explained that the only changes to the tabulation from that <br />reviewed at the last meeting was the inclusion of the hollow metal <br />and a recommendation for the dry wall bid. He noted they are <br />unable to accept the faxed bir*'; included. <br />Peterson clarified that if the contract Is to be rebid, those <br />sending in a faxed bid the first time will not be excluded from <br />rebidding the contract. <br />Davies asked what the limit is on a rebid to go with competitive <br />bids versus advertising for bids again. <br />Moorse said that the bids would need to be less than $15,000. <br />Kelley asked how the revised tabulation compares with the budget <br />proposal. <br />Davies said the two are the same. <br />It was moved by Butler, seconded by Peterson, to accept the <br />recommendation of the Construction Manager and award the bids to <br />those noted in the bid tabulation. Ayes 4, nays 0. <br />Moorse stated they would need to ratify the bid awards accepted by <br />the Council In October of 1991. <br />It was moved by Goetten, seconded by Butler, to ratify the bids <br />accepted by Council at their October 20, 1991 meeting. Ayes 4, <br />nays 0.
