A <br />director auat: <br />A. be at leaat 18 years old; <br />B. be n aduate of a high school or hold an <br />equivalent diplotsa * stained through successful coopletion of the <br />general education development (GEO) test; <br />C. have at least 1>040 hours of paid or unpaid staff <br />supervision experience; and <br />0. have at least nine quarter credits or 90 hours <br />earned in any combination of acctedited courses in staff <br />supervisionr human relations, and child development. <br />Subp. 2. Additional roqulrementa. A person employed as a teacher as of the effective <br />date of parts 9903.0005 to 9503.0170 who met the qualifications <br />in part s54S.0<00, subpart 1, item I, is considered to meet the <br />qualificetiona of a teacher, but must meet the qualifications in <br />this part within throe years of the effective date of parts <br />9503.0009 to 9903.0170. <br />B. Any new employee hired as a teacher during the <br />first three years after the effective date of parts 9903.0009 to <br />9903.0170 must meet the qualifications in this part or the <br />license holder must document that the person hired at least <br />meets the qualifications in pert 9949.0800, subpart 1, item B, <br />and that the person will meet the qualifications in this part <br />within three years of the effective date of parts 9503.0005 to <br />9903.0170. <br />C. A registered nurse or licensed practical nurse is <br />qualified as a teacher for infants only. <br />0. A registered nurse may be used to meet the /taff <br />to child ratios for « teacher fcr sicx care in a center licensed <br />to operate a sick care program. <br />S.
