(b) The following city individuals may issue citations in lieu of arrest or continued <br />detention for violations of this Code. Areas of jurisdiction will be contained in <br />city policy as set forth in resolution form by the city council. <br />(1) Peace officers and part-time peace officers. <br />(2) Reserve officers. <br />(3) Community service officers. <br />(6) Building inspector. <br />.ee�sreA <br />(8) Building official. <br />(9) Septic inspector. <br />(10) P��-gCommunity Development director. <br />(11) Fire chief or marshal. <br />(12) Public works superintendent. <br />(13) As designated, subject to council. approval. <br />SECTION 4. Orono City Code Title I, Chapter 2, Article I, Section 2-3 (c) is amended <br />by adding the underlined language and deleting the *� �'S: t -J Uurs ,language as follows: <br />(c) Upon adoption of a resolution declaring certain property to be abandoned <br />property, the city administrator shall give ten dam published a notice, describing <br />the property found or recovered to be sold, together with the names (if known) <br />and addresses (if known) of prior owners and holders of such property-,4nd <br />ineluding a brief dese.-iptio of s,,e pi:opArt.,. The text of such notice shall also <br />state the time, place and manner of sale of all such property, except cash and <br />negotiables. If there is none in the city, the notice shall be published in <br />the county. Sale shall be made to the highest bidder at public auction or sale <br />conducted in the manner directed by the council in its resolution declaring <br />property abandoned and stated in the notice. <br />
