ORDINANCE NO. 1K$,THIRD SERIES <br /> CITY OF ORONO <br /> HENNEPIN COUNTY,MINNESOTA <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES <br /> PERTAINING TO SUBDIVSIONS <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF ORONO ORDAINS: <br /> SECTION 1. Chapter 82 shall be amended by deleting in its entirely and adding text to read as <br /> follows: <br /> Chapter 82- SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS <br /> ARTICLE I. -IN GENERAL <br /> Sec. 82-1. -Rules. <br /> (a) For the purpose of this chapter, certain numbers, abbreviations,terms and words used shall be used, <br /> interpreted, and defined as set forth in this article. <br /> (b) The word "used" or "occupied" as applied to any land or building shall be construed to include the <br /> words "intended, arranged,or designed to be used or occupied." <br /> Sec. 82-2.- Definitions. <br /> The following words,terms and phrases,when used in this article, shall have the meanings ascribed <br /> to them in this section,except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning: <br /> Applicant means any subdivider or their agent. <br /> Block means a tract of land bounded by streets, or by a combination of streets and public parks, <br /> cemeteries,rights-of-way,exterior boundaries of the subdivision, shorelines of waterways, outlots or <br /> boundary lines of municipalities. <br /> Bond means any form of security, including surety bond, warranty bond,penalty bond, collateral, <br /> property, or instrument of credit acceptable to the city. <br /> Building means any structure having a roof which may provide shelter or enclosure of persons, <br /> animals or chattel; and when the structure is divided by party walls without opening, each portion of <br /> such building so separated shall be deemed a separate building. <br /> Building site line means a line on the preliminary plat which delineates the dry buildable land of any <br /> lot upon which a structure may be constructed, which land meets all of the setback requirements of <br /> chapter 78. <br /> Capital improvement program means an itemized program setting forth the schedule and details of <br /> specific contemplated public improvements by fiscal year,including public improvements in or related to <br /> air space and subsurface areas necessary for mined underground development pursuant to Minn.
