ORDINANCE NO. 169 , THIRD SERIES CITY OF ORONO HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL CITY WETLAND MAP PER MUNICIPAL CODE SECTION 78-1609 FILE #16-3828 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ORONO, MINNESOTA ORDAINS: Section 1. The Municipal Code of the City of Orono is hereby amended per the provisions of Section 78-1609 by amending the official City Wetland Map established via Orono Zoning Code Section 78-1603 to exclude from the Wetland Overlay District certain wetland areas located on the Property at 2940 Sixth Avenue North, Hennepin County PP_VS 28-118-23-31-0001, said Property legally described in Exhibit A attached hereto. The aforesaid Property is being developed by construction of a new public road to serve a new residential development in the City of Medina. The road construction on the Property will result in the filling of a 0.11 acre portion of Wetland PC -P6 as identified in the Orono Surface Water Management Plan dated January 2011. The portion of wetland being filled is legally described in Exhibit B attached hereto and depicted in Exhibit C attached hereto. The portion of wetland being filled is being mitigated on a 2:1 basis via wetland restoration elsewhere within the development site in Medina. The official City Wetland Map is hereby amended for the above described Property by rezoning to exclude from the Wetland Overlay District the portion of Wetland PC -P6 described and depicted within Exhibits B and C. Section 2. This ordinance shall be published in the Laker and Pioneer newspapers and shall be effective upon publication. Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota at a regular meeting held on the 13th day of June, 2016 by a vote of 4 ayes and 0 nays. ATTEST: r !
