ORDINANCE NO. 124, THIRD SERIES <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF ORONO <br />AND AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP <br />BY REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTIES <br />FROM RR -1B SINGLE FAMILY RURAL RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT <br />TO RPUD RESIDENTIAL PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT <br />- FILE #14-3685 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation organized and existing <br />under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and <br />WHEREAS, The Broadway Group, LLC, a Minnesota limited liability company, has <br />applied for subdivision and rezoning of portions of the properties located at 2350 Watertown Road <br />and xxx Willow Drive North from RR -113 Single Family Rural Residential District to RPUD <br />Residential Planned Unit Development in order to allow for development of single family residential <br />lots; and <br />WHEREAS, the property to be rezoned to RPUD is legally described as Lots <br />through 5, Block 1; Lots 1 and 2, Block 2; and Outlot B, OLIVER HILL, Hennepin County, <br />Minnesota (hereinafter the "Property"); and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has approved the rezoning of said properties per the <br />findings, terms and conditions of Resolution No. 4637 adopted August 25, 2014, and the PUD \'o. <br />8 Agreement between The Broadway Group, LLC and the City of Orono executed on August 25, <br />2014. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ORONO <br />DOES HEREBY ORDAIN: <br />Section 1. The Municipal Code of Orono is amended by amending the official zoning map and <br />zoning district boundaries for the property described as follows: <br />Lots 1 through 5, Block 1; Lots 1 and 2, Block 2, and Outlot B, OLIVER HILL, <br />Hennepin County, Minnesota, <br />Said property is hereby rezoned from RR -1B Single Family Rural Residential District to RPUD <br />Residential Planned Unit Development District, <br />Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect only upon execution of the PUD No. 8 Agreement, <br />which Agreement shall govern future development of the Property. <br />Section 3. This ordinance shall be published in The Laker and The Pioneer newspaper and small <br />be effective upon publication. <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
