. , . � <br /> ri� r�or..+t,o,.o,...,.,;+. <br /> � <br /> i�� r,-,,,,�+�.o� ,-.,.,;+. <br /> o � <br /> !21 r,-�„r�l,e„ ,-,,,;� ., „a;*;,,., �1,.,� ., .,1+0,..,.,�o a.,�o �;.�.o „ „�o .. <br /> � <br /> Ei�-6�@I�� <br /> � The citv administrator or designee may refuse to issue a parade or special event <br /> permit to the applicant for any of the following reasons: <br /> (1) The conduct of the parade or special event will substantially interrupt the safe and <br /> orderly movement of other pedestrian or vehicular traffic contiguous to its route or <br /> location. <br /> (2) The conduct of the parade or special event will require the diversion of so re�at a. <br /> number of citv police officers to properly police the line of movement and the areas <br /> contiguous thereto as to prevent normal op lice protection of the Cit� <br /> �3 The proposed special event violates the Zonin�Ordinance. <br /> (4) The parade is not scheduled to move from its point of origin to its point of <br /> termination expeditiouslv and without unreasonable delavs en route. <br /> (5) Adeguate sanitation and other required health facilities are or will not be available. <br /> (6) Sufficient parking near the site of the parade or special event has not been�rovided <br /> to accommodate the number of vehicles reasonably expected or the applicant has not <br /> provided a plan that is sufficient to shuttle visitors to and from a special event. <br /> (7) The application fails to com,plv with relevant provisions of section 38-802. <br /> (8) An investi�ation revealed that the applicant falsified information on the application <br /> (9) Failure of the applicant to�ay the reQuired fee. <br /> (10) Failure of the applicant or the owner of the ro e�rty on which the special event is to <br /> be held to si�,n the application. <br /> {b) The citv administrator or desi�nee shall act prom�tl�pon a timelv filed application <br /> for a parade or special event permit,but in no event shall Qrant or den�permit less than 48 <br /> hours prior to the parade or special event and shall include reasons for denial. An�pplicant <br /> shall have the ri�ht to appeal the denial of a parade or special event permit to the city council <br /> The anpeal shall be filed within 5 davs after receipt of the denial to the citv clerk.
