Applicable <br /> Fee Code Section <br /> STORM WATER AND DRAINAGE TRUNK FEES Sec.14-281 thru 14-287 <br /> Storm water trunk fees apply to new devetopment and redevelopment of existing properties and provide funding for the storm water infrastructure necessary to serve the City. <br /> The trunk fee is based on the land use and acreage of the property being developed. An equivalency factor multiplier is assigned to each land use type,with a 2-acre residential <br /> lot considered as the standard in the City with an equivalency factor of 1.0. The table below lists the storm water trunk fees per acre for the various zoning districts and land <br /> uses in the City. <br /> Storm Water and Draina e Trunk Fees <br /> New Development Trunk Fee/ (1)Buffer Easement Reduction.For the 5-acre zoning <br /> Land Use . ACre d�strict,a reductwn of up to 50%of the trunk fee for the lot <br /> will be allowed for the percentage of the lot protected by <br /> Single Family Residential 5 Acre Zone(1)(2) $2,660 perimeter and/or drainage way buffer easements.These buffer <br /> easement areas shall remain in a natural condrt�on. <br /> Single Family Residential2 Acre Zone(3) $3,330 <br /> (2)Maximum Fee.For the 5-acre zoning district,any lot <br /> Sin le Famil Residential i Acre Zone $4,330 exceeding 7.0 gross acres including wetland,shall be charged a <br /> g y maximum trunk fee equal to the trunk fee for a 7.0 acre parcel. <br /> Such lot shall remain eligible for the up to 50%reduction <br /> Single Family Residential 1/2 Acre Zone $4,990 noted in(1)above,such reduct�on based on the percentage of <br /> 7.0 acres that is placed in buffer easemenis. <br /> Multi Family Residential 4 Units/Acre or Less � $6,000 <br /> (3)Ma�cimum Fee.For the 2-acre zoning districts,any lot <br /> Multi Family Residential Greater than 4 Units/Acre $7,000 exceedmg 4.0 gross acres including wedand,shall be charged a <br /> ma�cimum trvnk fee equal to the trunk fee for a 4.0 acre parcel. <br /> Commercial or Industrial $7,990 <br /> Redevelopment projects will be defined as any project to either remove and replace existing structures or to enlarge existing structures. These projects will be charged a <br /> portion of the base trunk fee adjusted for the area of expansion of impervious surface above the existing conditions. The table below lists the base trunk fee based on the area <br /> of impervious surface expansion and adjusted for the type of land use.
