WATER STRUCTURES COMMITTEE Eobrunry 13, l')03 <br />Foster wondered, if there are only two affected multiple <br />docks involved, could they be exempt from construction by <br />11/30/93. Babcock noted that the amenities ordinance has changed <br />since the original approval of RDP’s Special Density license. <br />Grathwol said the committee should figure out what has to be done <br />to preserve the Special Density and multiple dock license gratited <br />but not installed without allowing an open end. Babcock suggest <br />ed changing enactment of the ordinance back to the present <br />rather than 1 1/30/93 and changing the wording back to "any two <br />year period commencing at any time after the effective date of <br />this ordinance". That would give everyone a two year notice. <br />MOTION: Grathwol moved. Babcock seconded, to recommend re-in <br />serting "commencing at any time after the effective date of this <br />ordinance" n”d change the enactment date to be in effect upon <br />approval by the Boarci ar.d publirition. <br />VOTE: Motion carried unanimously. <br />The EPT and RDP representatives indicated their acceptance. <br />"43. Second reading of draft ordinance changing "3 feet" to <br />feet from the 929.4’ OIIW" amending Sect. 1.07 Subd. 3 Length <br />Variances and Sect. 2.01, Subd. 2 a)authorized Dock Use Area. <br />MOTION: Babcock moved. Carlson seconded, to recommend approval <br />of An Ordinance Amending LMCD Code of Ordinances Sect. 1.07. <br />Subdivision 3: Relating to Length Variances for Docks on Lake <br />Minnetonka and Section 2.01. Subdivision 2: Relating to Dock Use <br />Areas, waiving the third reading. <br />VOTE: Motion carried unanimously. <br />4. Multiple Dock Licenses: per staff reports <br />A. Renewals without change, Village Certificates Received <br />MOTION: Babcock moved.
