Omlie, 1860 Shady wood Road - <br />Variances - Conditional Use Permit - Resolution <br />At the February 8th meeting of the Council, Council moved to approve a hardcover <br />variance allowing an excess of 200 s.f. hardcover over the approved 25.2% with building <br />permit. The additional hardcover was to allow the installation of retaining walls to sustain steep <br />elevations adjacent to driveway turnaround appros ’ed with building permit. Hardcover within <br />the 75-250 ’ setback area is approved as follows; <br />House = 2,930 s.f. <br />Garage = 815 s.f. <br />Driveway = 1,755 s.f. <br />Sidewalk = 150 s.f. <br />Steps = 39 s.f. <br />Patio area = 300 s.f. <br />Retaining walls = 200 s.f. <br />Total hardcover = 6,189 s.f. or 26% <br />Existing hardcover = 59.89 s.f. or 25.2% <br />Variance = 200 s.f. or .8% <br />The Council denied the conditional use pennit that would allow filling of approximately <br />250-300 cubic yards of fill to allow for paving expansions within 75-250 ’ setback area. <br />Per the Council ’s direction the enclosed resolution has been drafted approving a <br />hardcover variance of 26% within the 75-250 ’ setback area and denying the conditional use <br />permit for the additional fill and paving improvements.
