The Planning Commission unanimously approved the conditional use permit/variance <br />application of Albert and Sally Hanscr that would allow the excavation of a sediment pond at <br />a maximum of 5’3" depth, proposed lowest elevation 928, as shown on grading plan by Mark <br />S. Gronberg dated 11/27/92, revised 1/21/93 and further encourage applicants to work with City <br />to determine if both schedules can be coordinated so that all alteratioas can be completed within <br />the winter of 1993. <br />Since the Planning Commission meeting, staff has received a phone call from Mr. Hanser <br />who has advised that he is willing to work with the City on this project. Staff has advised the <br />City Engineer’s office to submit a revised plan to the DNR to be sent 2/18. It is hoped that the <br />DNR will provide their final approval within the next seven to ten days and that both projects <br />can be completed at the same time. Staff and applicants will be meeting the week of February <br />22nd to work out such details as sharing of cost and work. The enclosed resolution has been <br />drafted per the Planning Commission’s recommendation.
