Gerhardson, Public Works Directo <br />January 21, 1993 <br />Orono Baseball Association - Bederwood Park % <br />As everyone may be aware, the Orono Baseball Association (OBA) has <br />been using the Bederwood Park ball diamond for scheduled use. The <br />use of the bal3 diamond by OBA is contingent upon Council approval <br />each year. <br />The process has been that the Park Commission does the review and <br />recommends to Council whether or not to allow the use of the ball <br />diamond by OBA. <br />At the December Park Commission meeting, the Park Commission <br />3pp]fov0d the use of the ball diamond by the OBA tor the 1993 <br />session with the same criteria as in 1992 with the understanding <br />that 1993 will be the last year. <br />Attached are the December Park Commission Minutes related to the <br />OBA approval <br />Mr. Gary Larson of the OBA will be in attendance to answer any <br />questions.
