VOLUNTEERS OF AMERICA . . • was founded March 8, 1896 <br />in New York City. Less than four months later services were begun in Minneapolis. <br />VOLUNTEEIRS OF AAIERICA, a national Christian human service organiz^ition, <br />has a 97 year history of serving people in need; regardU'ss of their race, color or <br />creed. It seeks to develop programs in areas where human needs are not being met <br />by exisiing services. <br />VOLliN lTsERS OF AMERICA staff is comprised of individuals who not only have <br />administrative and/or professional social work expertise, but who also have a <br />commitment to the Christian mission of the organization; the reaching and uplifting <br />of all people. Last year, in addition to 340 staff, more than 2100 persons volunteered <br />their talents to help enrich program services in Minnesota. <br />VOLUNTEEIRS OF AMERICA, a 501(c)(3) organization, is eligible to receive tax <br />deductible donations. <br />VOLUNTEEIRS OF AMElRiCA meets all regulatory standards such as a certified <br />audit, annual report, and Filings with the Charities Division of the Minnesota <br />Attorney General’s Office. <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS <br />Of Minnesota In Minnesota <br />Mark T.
