Therefore, I am writing to set out our <br />understanding of the matter. <br />At the meeting we again stated that the Jeromes and Lindells <br />object to the unauthorized and illegal public use of their <br />property. The Jeromes and Lindells described a large number of <br />nuisance problems associated with this invasion of their privacy <br />and property. We also repeated our position that the city does <br />not have a valid legal claim to a road across the Jerome and <br />Lindell properties. <br />According to Mr. Gerhardson the city's position is summarized <br />in the materials he handed out on the 12th. He interprets the <br />materials to support the city's claim to a road. Our clients do <br />not agree. Review of the materials does not persuade us that the <br />law or the facts favor the city. <br />The meeting focused on finding solutions to the problems <br />being experienced by our clients. The city proposed posting "No <br />Snowmobiling" signs, attempting to limit the use to that by ice <br />fisherman, and increasing police enforcement efforts to maintain <br />security and eliminate nuisances. <br />35 Vi*4rs of Prxjinsional Lnul Servkes
