While portions of this information have already <br />been submitted to you, a complete package is attached. <br />The following comments should assist you in your review: <br />I. Corrected Population/Houeehold Projections (Page 11-13). <br />In reviewing the population and household projections <br />originally submitted, an error in our original submittal came to <br />light. The error was that the number of households reported for <br />1900 did not include vacant housing units, which gave a false <br />indication of actual housing increases during the periods of <br />1970-1980 and 1980-1990. Because this incorrect data was used to <br />project continued development at rates similar or slightly <br />decreasing from the 1900-1990 rates, all of the submitted <br />population and household projections were probably too high. <br />The tables on page 11 and 12 have been revised fer <br />re-submittal. In addition the text has been revised to reflect a <br />correct 1900-1990 average of 31.4 households per year rather than <br />49.6 previously reported. The text will reflect that this rate is <br />anticipated to gradually decline to approximately 25 households per <br />year in the year 2020 (not 2010 as previously submitted). <br />IH !• l*MONr: - » w 4*V4»9ltt
