<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />CITY OF ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. 7450 <br />A RESOLUTION TO ESTABLISH <br />THE GOLF COURSE ENTERPRISE FUND <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Orono Orchard Golf Course officially opened June 4, 1924 to provide <br />golfing opportunities for both residents and visitors to the City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the new enterprise fund will allow the City to dedicate, separate, and track <br />expenses and revenues related to the golf course activity; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with the Minnesota State Auditor guidelines for enterprise <br />funds, the pricing policies of the golf course establish fees and charges designed to recover its <br />costs, including capital costs; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the fund will be retroactive for the 2023 golf season; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Golf Course Enterprise Fund be <br />created. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ADOPTED this 12th day of February 2024, by the City Council of the City of Orono. <br /> <br />CITY OF ORONO <br /> <br />By: _______________________________ <br /> Dennis Walsh, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />______________________________ <br />Christine Lusian, City Clerk <br /> <br />41
