N. <br />Crystal, MN 55429 <br />(612) 420-4546 <br />•JAH 5 ISM <br />Dear Mayors and City Councils of Hennepin County: <br />The Hennepin County Agricultural Society, sponsor of the <br />Hennepin County Olde Tywe Fair, is inviting you to part­ <br />icipate in yoar County Fair. <br />The 1993 Hennepin County (jlde Tyae Fair is scneduled for <br />July 21 - 25, 1993 at the Corcoran Lion's Park, located <br />at the intersection of Hwy 101 and CO. RD. 10 in Corcoran. <br />Some of the major events scheduled are Moto Cross races. <br />Demolition Derby, Amateur Talent Contest, Bingo, Evening <br />Band Concerts, 4-H and Open Class Exh-iits, CommerciAi <br />Exhibits, Helicopter Rides, Pig Races, Camel Rides, as <br />well as a Carnival, and much much more. <br />How can you as a City participate in the County Fair? <br />1. Include articles abou: the 1993 Hennepin County <br />Olde Tyme Fair in you City Newsletter, utility <br />billings, etc., this spring and summer. <br />2. Make a contribution to the Hennepin County <br />Agricultural Society to help finance the County Fair <br />Under the 19?1 Statute, law no. 38.12 APPROPRIATIONS <br />BY CERTAIN MUNICIPALITIES, Municipalities can give <br />tn the Co. Agricultural Society annually a sum not <br />to exceed $1000.00. <br />3. Have your Mayor attend the Special Mayor Recogition <br />event on Friday, July23, 1993. <br />4.
