MINUTES OF THE ORONO PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING <br />HELD OCTOBER 18, 1993 <br />(ffl) JAiV&S^. OGLAND/DONALD J. STOYKE - CONT. <br />Ogland stated that v^GiUion would put the property back on the Lax roles would be best <br />for the public interest. He does not like the encumbrances on Lhe prope^ay because they don’t <br />know if they should maintairKh or not. <br />Smith asked about similar vacations^n two neighboring prop^i>ffes. <br />Gaffron explamed that one goes back t^^69 and the otfier before that. These tw-o accesses <br />were similar and in the past it was found actcpiable^gran» a vacation. <br />Peterson stated he felt compelled by the DNR i^Avoid the vacation .since there is a Minnesota <br />statute that gives clear guidelines. <br />Smith asked if the application were/fabled. would convocation with the DNR be helpful. <br />Gaffron though it might.
