J- <br />MINUTES OF THE ORONO PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING <br />HELD JUNE 15, 1992 <br />(#6) §1741 RODNEY J. AND SHANON K. BATZLAFF. <br />1115 BROWN ROAD SOUTH - <br />VARIANCE - PUBLIC HEARING 7:30 - 7:32 P.M. <br />The Affidavit of Pub I I cat ion and Certificate of Mailing were noted. <br />Mr. and Mrs. Batzlaff were present. <br />Mabusth explained that the applicants seek approval of a variance <br />to allow a detached structure to be placed in front of the front <br />line of the principal structure, and a variances to the sldn <br />and street setback standards. <br />Chair Kelley asked about the shed In the rear which Is over the <br />property line. <br />Mabusth stated that the lot does not have a coverage problem. <br />Mr. Batzlaff said that the shed would have to be Jacked up and put <br />on skids to move. <br />Bellows said she did not have a problem with the shed If It were <br />to be moved onto the property. <br />It was moved by Bel lows, seconded by Chair Kelley, to recoTOnend <br />approval of Application §1741 for Rodney and Shanon Batzlaff of <br />1115 Brown Road South, for a variance to construct a detached <br />subject to shed being relocated within the property <br />boundaries. Ayes 5, nays 0. <br />Chair Kelley stated the shed would need to be moved 12’ Inward to <br />meet required setbacks. <br />(§e) §1742 JAMES AND AMY LAING, <br />500 0RCr40 ORCHARD ROAD - <br />VARIANCE - PUBLIC HEARING 7:33 - 7:38 P.M. <br />The AffIdavlt of Pubiication and Certifleets of Mailing were noted. <br />James Lalng was present for this application. <br />9
