TO:Planning Commission and Council O) 41.<y 'c
FRCM:Hank ^^uhich, Zoning Administrator
DATE:November 16, 1977
SUBJECT: Harry Gustafson - 2515 Kelly Avenue
Variance - Lakeshore Setback
The enclosed survey indicates the existing location of a boat house near the
shoreline. This is a masonry structure with a reinforced concrete flat roof
currently used as a deck.
The Gustafson’s are requesting approval of a variance to erect an enclosed
structure on top of this existing foundation and reinforced deck. The new
addition would not increase the hardcover area as it would only extend upward.
Under our new policy this proposal could probably be approved by staff. However,
this is the first application we’ve had regarding a lakeshore setback variance
since we adopted this new policy. I felt it would be best if we followed
customary procedures on this one so we might have some direction for fiituie
similar proposals.
LOCATICN
Address
Legal Oes(
applicant
Name
Address
aVNER
Name ///
Address
Present Zon
ZcBiiBg Ordi
Specify Ord
Explain Reqi
^7 ''c/a..
/.o<uy
Extent of No
\Hardships to
'■F
1.
2.
3.
^licatif
PIm Map i
Suwy (a
Date
